With the construction of the New Rail Link through the Alps (NEAT) a fast and powerful train connection will be created. Heart are the two base tunnels through the Gotthard and Ceneri. The new link leads through the Alps with minimal slopes and curves. STCE was charged with the vibration simulation on the Gotthard and Ceneri. The mitigation planning was carried out by local engineering companies.
