The high-speed line from Barcelona to the Spanish-French border is right next to the Sagrada Familia in the distance of 4m to the foundations. In an elaborate measurement program to the spiers of the UNESCO World Heritage the site was stocked with sensors and the vibration of the future high-speed traffic were simulated with VibroScan. Then a specific floating slab was designed to save Sagrada familia from vibrations.
